We are looking to hire a highly skilled appliance repair technician to perform all repair, installation, and maintenance duties required by customers. The main responsibilities include responding to calls to fix various appliances, testing newly installed appliances and making adjustments as needed, and informing customers of future maintenance work that may be required. You should also be able to refer to appliance manuals to resolve difficult problems.
To be successful as an appliance repair technician, you should keep abreast of the latest technologies & developments in home and commercial appliances. Ultimately, our outstanding technician should be able to demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills as well as achieve exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Travel offsite to customers' residences or businesses to perform maintenance and repair of appliances to ensure top product performance
- Conducts technical diagnosis and perform repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
- Assessing the extent of the problem, document findings, and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
- Providing rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances
- Installing various large appliances for customers, such as washers, wall ovens, and stoves
- Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job
- Pre-screen future service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem prior to arriving at customer’s home
- Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, on time %
- Note: Proper use of all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by AppliancePro-Tech
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience repairing major appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens etc.)
- Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment
- Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues
- Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must have a full, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
